Basic operations
Project operations
Create a new project
Click Home in the left navigation bar, then click the "Create New Project" button to open the project configuration window. Enter the project name and select the language to be used (the system language will be default). After confirming the details, click "Create Project". The system will automatically process and complete the project addition. You can check the progress later.
Switch to another project
In the middle section of the homepage, the open project is visible, representing the currently active project being operated on, and is in an activated state, unclickable; the project list below displays other projects that can be switched between by clicking on them.
You can also click the "+" button to quickly create and manage multiple projects. In multi-project mode, clicking any project will not switch; switching to another project is only possible when exactly one project is active; at this point, you can close the currently open project by clicking the "X" button.
Export project
After the project is created, you can view all created projects in the project list below the homepage. Locate the target project and click the "Export" button corresponding to it to save it as a local file for future use or sharing.
Import project
Adjacent to the "Create New Project" button is the "Import Project" option. Clicking this button will prompt the system to display a file selection window, from which you can select a previously exported Luminote project file and complete the import process.
Delete item
Click the trash button on the right side of the project to delete the target project. This operation is irreversible. We recommend exporting a backup before deletion to avoid data loss.
Article operations
To the right of the project name on the left, there is a "Add New Article" button. Clicking it will automatically create a new article at the end of the project.
Add child article
In the left-side article list, each article may have child notes. Right-click or click the icon beside the target article on the left to pop up a menu, and select "Add Child Note" to create a child article.
You can create sub-articles on sub-articles, and when the sub-article content is extensive, you can click the triangle button on the right side of the article item to collapse and view it, improving browsing efficiency.
Delete article
Right-click or click the icon on the left side of the target article, you will find the "Move to Recycle Bin" option in the popup menu. The article will be temporarily stored in the Recycle Bin and will not be deleted immediately. You can view and select to restore or permanently delete the article by clicking the Recycle Bin entry in the left navigation panel.
Displacement article
Long-press the icon on the left side of the article item to move it up or down, easily adjusting its order in the list.
